Courtland Keteyian, MD, MBA, MPH
President and CEO, Jackson Health Network; Vice President, Population Health at Henry Ford Jackson; Medical Director, Occupational Health at Henry Ford Jackson
Dr. Keteyian leads both the Jackson Health Network and the division of Population Health for Henry for Allegiance Health. In this role, he is accountable for operations spanning the clinical network, community health, population health management, and business health. He joined the organization in 2016, and previously served as Director of Value Alignment for JHN and Medical Director for Jackson County.
Dr. Keteyian is a Michigan native. He received a Bachelor of Science from Yale University before earning Doctor of Medicine, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of Michigan. He completed a residency in preventive medicine and a fellowship in medical innovation at the University of Michigan, as well as a fellowship in occupational medicine at the University of Colorado. He is board certified in preventive medicine
Erika Dochoda, MSA
Vice President, Network Performance & Operations
Erika brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare administration and value-based care contracting to her role at JHN. Presently, she has responsibility for oversight of Network Payor Contracting, Value Based Contract Performance, Physician Performance, Provider Credentialing, Marketing/Growth, and Business Health. In her role at JHN she works to create alignment, reduce duplication of efforts and maximize clinical and financial performance under risk contracts.
Erika was born and raised in Jackson, Michigan and her love for this community drives her to advocate for the providers and patients JHN serves. Erika furthered her education in the state of Michigan by obtaining a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Central Michigan University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Spring Arbor University.
Amy Schultz, MD, MPH
Executive Medical Director
As a Preventive Medicine Specialist, Dr. Schultz has been involved in leadership of clinical preventive service improvement and community-based health improvement in Michigan since 2004. She has led the department of Prevention and Community Health at Henry Ford Allegiance Health for over 16 years and formally joined the Jackson Health Network leadership team in January 2015 to advance transformation toward community integrated health systems of the future. Dr. Schultz is board certified in General Preventive Medicine and Public Health, and holds a Master’s of Public Health degree in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan.
Ernest Cawvey
Director of Clinical Transformation
Ernest is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and ongoing improvement of the clinical integration program. He facilitates the advancement of clinical system redesign and reengineering initiatives that drive alignment toward system transformation from volume to value. This work includes leading cross-continuum strategies across the acute, post-acute, and ambulatory clinical network, community health providers, and health and social service agencies.
Michael Foust, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Foust attended the University of Michigan for 8 years earning my medical degree in 1991. He completed his residency in Family Medicine in Grand Rapids and returned to Jackson in 1995 to join Townsend Family Care where he continues to practice. He was the associate medical director for Priority Health for nearly 10 years. He was co-medical director at the Jackson County Health Department for 2 years. He has been a medical director for Southern Care Hospice for over 10 years. At JHN, he was a past chair of the Incentive Methodology committee and a member of the Measures committee . He is currently on the Cost of Care committee and the clinical performance committee having chaired the latter for the last 2 years. He has chaired the provider champion meeting since its inception. He became a Medical Director for JHN in March of 2020.
Bruce Barbour, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Barbour has been a member of JHN since its inception, becoming the medical director in 2015.He functions as a liaison to primary care outpatient clinics with the objective of improving quality and ensuring compliance with JHN standards. He is board certified after completing an internship and residency in internal medicine at the medical College of Ohio. Dr. Barbour is a Jackson native. He returned to Jackson in 1986 to open a private practice. He is currently involved with graduate medical education, supervising the residents in the outpatient clinic. He is the physician advisor for utilization review. He has served as medical director to home health. Previously he was a physician reviewer for inpatient documentation improvement.
